Every year the Retired Greyhound Trust finds more than 4,000 homes for greyhounds in Britain when their racing days are over.  That means that every 130 minutes another retired greyhound is adopted into a loving home.

The Retired Greyhound Trust is a national charity founded in 1975 operating a network of 72 volunteer-led branches across Britain.  More than 1,000 individuals volunteer their time to help find homes for these noble dogs.

We all work with one vision in mind: a day when no ex-racing greyhound is without a good home.

The Trust is happy to provide you:

  • Information about our work and the suitability of greyhounds as pets
  • Comments, responses or statements on issues relating to greyhounds
  • Interviews with our spokespeople
  • Facts and figures
  • Copies of our logos and corporate material
  • Photos from our extensive library
  • Permission to film at one of our 72 branches nationwide
  • VIP passes to our events.
